11 Regent Terrace Mews

11 Regent Terrace Mews

About five years ago, Glen Finegan and his partner Jenia Rybitskaya moved in to No 11 Regent terrace Mews immediately next door to Richard Murphy at No 10. Impressed with his house they asked if he could remodel No. 11. The project has grown to a virtual re-building the whole flat with only the four external walls and part of the roof remaining. Whilst the plan area is twice as big as No 10 there is no downstairs, being two garages in separate ownership.

The new flat has two bedrooms and bathrooms reorganised along its south side leaving the majority of the space as a long living/dining/kitchen space. The entire space is lit by a south facing ridge roof light supported on two enormous 11m steel beams with the soffit of the roof expressed internally. At one end is a raised study platform slotted in between the ridge height and the headroom required for the access stair
