Matt joined Richard Murphy Architects in September 1997 as Project Architect for the £1.6 million Dublin Street Lane housing project and thereafter for Belford Road Housing Project and the award winning Eastgate Theatre and Arts Centre in Peebles completed in 2005 and gaining planning permission for the refurbishment of Donaldsons College in Edinburgh.
Matt is currently Project Director for the new British High Commission in Colombo, Sri Lanka which is under construction, and has recently completed the renovation of the British Embassy in Macedonia completed in 2005.
In addition he is Project Director of Murray Mills in Manchester, a listed and historic group of buildings being converted to residential use.
Matt is also Project Director, leading our team Masterplanning the prestigious £100 million Redevelopment of Haymarket in Edinburgh - the development will consist mostly of hotels and office accommodation.
Finally Matt is also responsible for personnel matters within the Practice and in addition oversees various smaller projects in the office.
